HWL International Journal of Islamic Social Sciences is a yearly publication of the Human Welfare League, Moka, Mauritius. It is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal, dedicated to providing a platform to academics and researchers for publication of original, quality and in-depth scholarly research articles within the area of Islam and its associated fields of study. The Journal aims to provide opportunities to academics and researchers to discuss relevant contemporary issues faced in their respective communities from an Islamic perspective. The Journal is bilingual, considering articles written in English and/or French and its yearly issue is published in September. The Journal also accepts book reviews for publication.
